Christmas and New Year leave: submit your claim by 20 November 2026
If you’re planning to take portable long service leave over the Christmas and New Year period, submit your claim by 20 November 2026 to receive priority processing.
Claims received after this date will still be assessed, but they’ll be processed as capacity allows and may not be finalised in time for the holiday period.
What you need to do
To help us assess claims promptly, make sure your application is complete and includes accurate information.
Employers also play an important role. Please review and approve claims promptly, check the information provided, and respond quickly to any requests for clarification. Incorrect or incomplete employer information, or delayed responses, can hold up claim processing and payment.

The following payment dates are estimates for claims received by the 20 November 2026 deadline. They are not guaranteed.
